Ocean 11 Student Poster Competition 3rd Place

Posted the 24/6 : Hector Fabian GUARNIZO MENDEZ has won the 3rd Place at the Ocean 11 Student Poster Competition for a presentation entitled "High performance underwater UHF radio antenna development" (Santander SPAIN). IEEE Fellow nomination

Posted the 14/01 - The Department is honored to anounce that Dr. Michel Ney, Professor at the Telecom Institute in Brest, former Head of the research Laboratory of Electronics ans Systems for Telecommunications (LEST) at Télécom Bretagne and leader of the Group "Systems and Devices Modeling" in the research pole "Microwave and Materials" (Lab-STICC) was elevated to the grade of IEEE Fellow for recognized contributions to modeling in electromagnetics. Professor Ney's nomination was supported by the Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) Society.

Francesco Andriulli selected for an Associate Professor Position in the Microwave Departement

Posted the 15/06 - "My research interests have been concentrating on the area of Computational Electromagnetics, the scientific discipline that seeks the development of accurate and efficient Maxwell's equations solvers. My work, which situates itself at the interface between electrical engineering, advanced computing, and applied mathematics, focuses on developing fast and efficient solvers to characterize the electromagnetic interactions, radiation, and scattering of large, multiscale, and complex objects."

Collaboration With Comsis Company Succeeded In The Delivery Of An Advanced MIMO Equipment

Successful collaboration with Comsis company lead to the delivery of  advanced MIMO Equipment. Dr Daniel Bourreau , Associate Professor at Microwave Departement and Lead Engineer on this project.
